The Boston Massacre a push toward rebellion

Project Overview

The fight for freedom pitted American colonists against Great Britian. The colonists declared their independence from Britain and then fought a long war to make that independence a reality. This social studies lesson on the fight for freedom is geared towards 5th grade. In this lesson students will examine primary sources to understand the conditions under which the colonists fought and the determination they had during the period of 1770-1775, The Boston Massacre to the Battle of Bunker Hill.
