The Literary Quest of the African American

Daniel Murrray

The Literary Quest of the African Americans

This writing lesson uses African Americans who wrote the American experience through their eyes, as examples for writing a personal story. The student will learn to write a personal story about him/herself with the idea that it will be read one hundred years from now.

"The true test of the progress of a people is to be found in their literature"
