Project Overview

This student centered, self selected lesson allows “historians” to build on their existing background knowledge of World War II and the Holocaust, guiding them to explore their areas of interest and discover new topics too.  It is designed to easily allow for differentiation (gifted, on grade level, and struggling readers).  The activities are based on Stripling’s Model of Inquiry and primary sources from the Library of Congress as well as a few outside sources. This lesson is designed for middle school students.
