QR Codes:

We want to teach our teachers/participants the "new" way of teaching. We introduce lessons using QR codes so our participants can then go back to their classrooms and reap the benefits of being able to take their students to an interactive learning session, every single day.

Below are a few of the benefits of using QR codes in the classroom:

1. Students are able to easily access a QR code.

QR codes are accessible from mobile phones and are scannable using a laptop webcam.

2. It saves teachers time and helps students be accurate.

This is especially true if teachers use a lot of online resources. Blogs, Moodle courses, videos and other resources on the Internet. Instead of writing different URLs on the blackboard, and sometimes getting it wrong, teachers can just get a QR code to resolve to the URLs they use.

3. Make your lessons more interesting.

Just about anything now is online. If teachers have to discuss a less engaging subject to their students, why not let them participate in a forum that features the subject. Or if teachers are asking their students to read a book, it would make it more engaging for them if they can augment the reading with multimedia help.

4. It is quick and easy to create and implement.

QR codes are easy to create. All teachers have to do is go to a trusty QR code generator and they will have a QR code in a matter of seconds. What's more, it is free of charge to create and use a QR code.
